Litigium Capital is happy to announce a cooperation agreement with Qamcom IPR Technology and Mats Rydström. The cooperation is intended to strengthen our capabilities within intellectual property law. Mats is a European Patent Attorney and has a doctoral degree from Chalmers University of Technology.
Litigium Capital has noted a rising interest for third party funding regarding intellectual property. Many inventors and start-ups expend significant resources on patents and intangible rights development, but often lack the capabilities to defend these when challenged.
Mats will primarily assist Litigium Capital with technical research in connection with a dispute. Mats’ assessments will constitute an independent complement to the advice of the legal and patent counsel representing our client in the dispute. Most importantly, Mats’ input will be an important addition to Litigium Capital’s decision on whether to finance an intellectual property dispute or not.
